Games begin exactly at 1:15 PM UK, and latecomers can't be admitted. Please only continue if your child can join right on time. Can't make this one? No problem — we run these regularly, so look out for the next.
Speak to the tutor first
Because your child is at Level 2, the tutor needs to confirm they're ready before joining the online tournament.
1Message the tutor in your WhatsApp group chat and ask whether your child is ready for the online tournament.
2If the tutor says your child isn't ready yet, hold off for now — they can join a future one. We run them regularly.
Two things to do on Lichess — open each, press its Join button, then come back and continue.

Join the Chessed team
Opens the team page. Press the green JOIN TEAM button near the top — if it asks for a code, paste the one below.

No green JOIN TEAM button on the page? That means your child is already in the team — nothing to do here, move on to step 2.

Enter the tournament
Opens the tournament page. The JOIN button is on the right of the grey bar, next to the round arrows (‹ ›) — press it, then paste the code below when asked.
Open the tournament on Lichess →
After pressing JOIN, check that your child’s name appears in the players list — that’s how you know they’re really in.
